Maggie's Voice is my happy place. Having witnessed the joy and positive impact Elinor's pony days have on my son I decided to start lessons in midlife and it is the best thing I have done! Spending time with the beautiful ponies and horses in the tranquil countryside setting is truly the best hour of my week.
The whole ethos of Maggie's Voice is wonderful and the love and care for the animals shines through. It is such a calm and nurturing place to be.
Elinor is a warm, kind and encouraging teacher and fills me with confidence in my lessons. Her knowledge, passion and connection with the ponies and horses is inspirational and I love learning so much from her. My daughter has been attending the after school pony care club on Thursday’s for a year now.
The guys at Maggie’s Voice are so welcoming and inclusive. They focus on the physical and mental wellbeing of the horses and the children. There is never any pressure on either to do anything that they don’t want to do. It is such a positive and nurturing place to learn.
My daughter gets so much from her sessions and I would recommend Maggie’s Voice to anyone who has an interest in horses.

My daughter struggled terribly with anxiety and could never find anything where she felt safe and secure enough to go. We tried so many clubs but they were always too much. Then we found El and Jess at Maggie’s Maggie's Voice Equestrian Center and now my little girl is full of confidence and life. She absolutely loves her time at the stables with the horses and she loves the bit-less and positive reinforcement that they practice. It’s changed her childhood and inspired her. She now wants to grow up and ‘be like El’……. We couldn’t ask for anything more for her. It’s even got my husband, son and I out on rides and learning! We love it!

My daughter Ellia started lessons with El after a horrific fall off her pony that resulted in a badly broken elbow and a soul crushing loss of confidence.
I explained to El before hand how anxious she was getting back on but how determined she was to do so.
The patience and kindness El and her team showed her was absolutely amazing.
She really got to know Ellia, and what worried her and what made her more comfortable. Whilst not being pushy and allowing her to find her confidence at her own pace.
The lengthy chats for the hour lesson as talking helped Ellia stay calm (Ellia can talk your head off 😂).
She gave constant praise and reassurance. And although still a little bit of a worrier Ellia has really progressed & it is all down to El.
I don’t think we would be here now if I didn’t find El.
She left every single lesson with a smile.
